Hi my name is Elyse Heise and I'm a Minnesota and New England based photographer. I grew up developing photos in darkrooms at school and with my family.

I graduated from UMass-Amherst with a degree in Journalism and a focus on Photojournalism. I have worked in studios for Portrait Simple, and Lifetouch, but thanks to my journalistic roots, I most enjoy working in the field and taking photos of people doing what they love.

I am also currently a staff writer for Megapixel Magazine.
